Dynamic Suspension lamps by Enrico Zanolla

These pendant lamps are distinctive, they look eye catching, chic, and simple. They belong to a very appealing collection, and designed by Enrico Zanolla. They don’t look too impressive with their brilliancy. And don’t look too simple as well. Glamour and simplicity seem to blend well in these suspension lamps. They bring elegance to any room because they are so stylish and beautiful.

The lamps’s design were taken from the cathedral image of St. Basil in Moscow. The most reminiscent image and prominent design of the cathedral were used. Color variations, texture, and the size of the domes symbolize the distinct features of each dome, the lampshade and their shapes represent the domes of the cathedral. Eventhough the shapes and designs of the lamps are very simple, the lamps have been given a great attention in the details and seen from the beginning.

Complicated programs such as a 3D CAD weren’t used in the creation of the lamps. For the designer, this project was challenging because he had to experiment and made this work personal. The idea was to get the lamps by converting the domes of the cathedral. The lamps come with four designs that look special. A couple of twisting lines are featured here, and one of them is simpler. Different design is more dynamic than the other. The lamps come in various finishes, colors, and sizes but the shape is the same.
