Futuristic design for the Dapto Anglican Church Auditorium

A brand new direction is seen from the Dapto Anglican Church Auditorium. This church is a new building with different priorities. From its generation, this exceptional church is relatively new and and has a design that gives the answer to the phenomenon of social and community, as well as the relationship between church and the society.

You can find this visionary church in Australia, precisely in Dapto, New South Wales. The church was built in 2011 and has an area covering 1,155 square meters. Silvester Fuller led the project. The auditorium of this church has a contemporary design both inside and outside. For many purposes the area is given a room with theatre appearance. In performing its comunal services, the church no longer devoted to worship and Sunday prayers but also as a gathering place for many events, 7 days a week, in the morning, afternoon, and the evening.

The auditorium is located not too far from the other buildings. You can find it between the church hall and a preschool. The auditorium has two main areas, the first is the foyer and the other one is the auditorium. When you go into the building, you will find some alternate rooms. Some areas inside the auditorium is intended for individual use thus intimacy and open areas blend so well. In the theathre room, you will see plenty of seats and a stage and the room itself is similar to a large box.

The exterior of this church has a blend of highly contrasting colors and bright. The area that has a lot of influence is colored in black while those with less influence are colored in white. Simplicity is visible through all the concept and surely will affect other creations (pics from Martin Van Der Wal and Discovered from Archdaily).
