Simple and Comfy DIY Floor Poufs

Poufs are comfortable, simple and compact so their units are great for seating. For your home, they make a wonderful decorations because they have attractive designs, moreover they can be used either as otooman or as a footstool. They are great for a home décor, especially for introducing print, texture, and color. If you wish to, you can make them on your own, this is the best part. Follow this guidance.

The poufs need covers as well, you can use some rugs for this. You may need sewing needles and some filler too, buy them all. Make two separate pieces of the rugs by cutting them down. Furthermore, the pieces have to be 12’’ x 23’’ and 23’’ x 23’’ in dimension as seen in the photos. With the same way, finish cutting one rug and then continue to the other one. The third cut has to be 12’’ x 23’’ in dimension, cut with the same technique.

Sewing is the next thing to do. Look at the pictures and do the given instructions. You must sew the corners once you have attached the six pieces. In the end, the bottom of the pouf must be attached to the two sides. After filling you can sew the opening closed, or if you want the cover to be removable you can add a zipper. In order for the shape of the poufs to look the same, you can use bean bag filling. This project is good for the week end and the work is not very complicated.
