Sustainable rustic wood cabin in Montana

The landscape looks natural and blend with the cabin. It also feels this way too. The cabin’s design look very old and this is the charm of this building. The cabin was developed by Highline Partners for five families and serve as a vacation home, located in Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana.

The cabin is equipped with a certified Platinum LED and the design is sustainable. In fact, in the entire state of Montana, it only had 3 certified platinum LEED when it was built. We feel like we’ve been there for years bit this cabin has been built in recent times. This cabin has 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms sits in an area covering 2,200 square feet on a 22 acre site. A horse pasture, streams, and forests are surrounding the cabin.

Some part of the cabin sits on water. This pond is hand made and there are more than four ponds there, all available on the property. In winter, the cabin is heated with this particular pond, and for the owners it also work as recreational area. The cabin looks charming and very beautiful. A lot of reclaimed wood is used so it has a rustic look. Stone and wood is combined for the interior and it also has original and unique elements. A collection of items, some rustic and antique furniture is decorating the cabin interior. You feel cozyness when you go inside.
